In 2005 I moved to Gothenburg to study a Master course in tourism & hospitality. While I was somewhat familiar with Sweden by virtue of annual school break trips to visit my mum who was based in Stockholm at the time, during my visits prior to moving there to study for two years, I hadn’t had the chance to venture to the Swedish west coast. Living in the country’s second largest city was certainly an eye opener, largely thanks to the Swedish & Finnish students I got to engage with during the course (many of whom I’m still really good friends with today). When it comes to living spaces, what I quickly learnt about Swedes (& Finns) is they love – balconies (borderline obsession really :) ), letting in as much natural light as possible, neutral colour palettes and plants & having a cute little two-seater table area either in the kitchen or the balcony (if they’re lucky to have one!)
So for today’s post I’m totally crushing on this Stockholm property listed for sale on the property website Svenska Mäklarhuset. xo!
